If you’re in NYC, it is likely that you want to experience the best date spots that the city has to offer.  Whatever your palette is craving, we’ve compiled a list of the 10 most taste bud watering, lip smackin’ date eateries New York City has to offer. Let’s dig in!

Sir Henri

At Sir Henri you are provided a warm belly and soul with every bite. They feature signature seasonal cocktails perfect for the time of the year. Our favorite cocktail is The Dominicana made with El Dorado Aged Rum, coffee liqueur, dry whipped cream, angostura, cinnamon. Nutty, homey, and pairs oh so well with the view from this rooftop paradise. As far as food goes, they serve lite fare and with a unique twist on small plates style. Perfect spot for a third date or first date drinks.

If you’re looking for fun and a chill party vibe, check out  Slate NY. They have a huge selection of giant games including, connect 4, chess, ping-pong and foosball. Not to be missed, however is their classic takes on street food – things like baby sliders and big daddy salads. Grab a cocktail or one of their many beer selections and get a game going. This one is sure to please the child in all of us. Oh! And they’re open until 4 am on the weekends!

Sushi by Bou

Sushi by Bou offers a very special Omakase experience! For $50 you get a 30 minute,  freshly made sushi and sashimi meal. Includes ingredients such as Salmon, Sea urchin, Eel, Salmon roe, and albacore tuna! Don’t skimp on the drinks. This spot serves up a great Apple Cider Sake Sangria.  Your taste buds will thank us later.

Kobrick Coffee

Settle your stomach after a big dinner or come and grab some quick bites at Kobrick Coffee Co. Just make sure the one thing you DO NOT MISS is they’re freshly roasted (in-house) coffee blends. Many options to choose and an array of ways to enjoy. Try out a coffee cocktail (decaf if you’re not feelin’ the jazz), or perhaps one of their delicious seasonal cocktails – our favorite: Chicha Roots [blanco tequila, dry curacao, boiled pineapple, fresh lemon, chicha morada, mexican chocolate bitters].

Baby Brasa

At Baby Brasa, Chef Franco Noriega cooks up some amazingly simple yet wildly flavorful Peruvian dishes. This all organic, from scratch kitchen, features classics like ceviche and (wait for it) Lomo Saltado – Peruvian stir-fry made with grass-fed sirloin steak, tomato/onion, rices, and french fries. Not to mention (but I totally will mention), the man never wears a shirt, Check out his youtube channel, I’m so serious.

Like something out of a cast party for the movie Boogie Nights, this 70s themed resto-bar is modeled by fashion, art, music, and interior design from the time. From the food tot he cocktails, this theme shines through. Everything is gourmet and made fresh. They serve up light apps, shareable dishes, and a ton of happy hour specials. Get your groove on and go down to The VNYL.

Enter this rustic little homestyle eatery for good food, drink, and to simply enjoy the aromas. At Feast, bread is kneaded and set to rest nightly so it may be baked in cast iron pots the next morning. Served up with a house made butter, this places signature is not to be taken lightly. You KNEAD this in your life. They feature seasonal menus, fresh ingredients, and a very fresh take on traditional American flavors. Dishes are meant for sharing, so bring your friends!

The Gin Parlour

Located inside the lush and elegant Intercontinental New York Barclay, The Gin Parlour has all of your gin needs! Inspired by the gin parlors (or speakeasies) of the 20s, they feature a large variety of gins, and other spirits; paired with traditional French American fare made from locally sourced, sustainable ingredients, you’ll want to make sure you come hungry. Their servers are all knowledgeable on all things gin, so don’t hesitate to ask for their recommendations.

TAO group has done it again! If you know anything about this management company, you know they are all about two things – culture and atmosphere that resonates through your body, not just your tummy. At Vandal, you’ll find a multi-level Italian/Mexican/Asian infusion restaurant that deals in the mystic. Fresh Seafood, Vegan options, and PIZZA! Don’t get stuck having just the same old same old. This is definitely the place for your palette to explore. They hold tons of events open to the public and can be booked for private dinner parties. When you’re done eating, head to the basement where they have a hit nightclub.

Beauty & Essex

Beauty & Essex, the name says it all. Their dishes are beautifully plated and flavored to perfection. Cocktails are shaken by some of NYC’s best bartenders and served with a smile. The true gem here, however, is the dessert! Our favorite is the pumpkin cheesecake which pairs well with their homemade ice creams and sorbet!
